Let’s Go Team Bahrain! 14 of Our Athletes Will Compete in 5 Sports in Paris 2024 Olympics

The Bahrain Olympic Committee just revealed the roster for the 33rd Olympic Games, “Paris 2024,” happening from July 26 to August 11, 2024, in the beautiful city of Paris. Bahrain is bringing the heat with 14 athletes competing in five sports: athletics, swimming, wrestling, judo, and weightlifting.

This exciting news was revealed at a press conference on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Wyndham Grand Hotel. His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee; Eric Giraud-Telme, Ambassador of France to Bahrain; Fares Mustafa Al-Kooheji, Secretary-General of the Olympic Committee; and Ahmed Mohamed Abdulghaffar, Executive Director of the Olympic Committee and Mission Director. In attendance were several presidents and members of the participating sports federations, along with a crowd of local and international media.
