Swarms of locusts made it to Bahrain this week migrating in millions and people were filming and sharing the footage in their areas.
These locusts were moving from areas of Africa and winds had them travel across the Middle East in areas like Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Although alarming in numbers and sight, Desert Locusts do not harm, bite, or sting humans or animals as they eat plants. Although crops and vegetations are subject to damage as these locusts can eat the same amount of food in one day as about 35,000 people. People were advised to stay indoors and to report any sighting of invasions to authorities.
People’s reactions online were mostly about the sight, comparing it to Armageddon or the apocalypse.
