Saar Cinema was announced officially closed on Thursday.
After over a year of rumors of its shutdown, the news hit town overnight. The notice was posted on Bahrain Cinema Company’s Instagram account earlier that morning.
It’s also no longer on the Bahrain Cinema website.
Everyone who’s grown up in Bahrain either had their hearts shattered or were happy to say good riddance to the place that was once the go-to spot for date nights or movie nights with friends. Naturally, people took to social media to comment on the news of Cinema’s closing.
