H.E President Ahmad Al-Sharaa of the Syrian Arab Republic has concluded his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During his stay, President Al-Sharaa was warmly received by HM King Hamad at the Sakhir Palace, with HRH Prince Salman also in attendance. The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Bahrain and Syria. They also reviewed recent developments in the region and shared views on several issues of mutual interest. HM King Hamad welcomed the Syrian President and expressed hope for continued stability and prosperity for the Syrian people. In return, President Al-Shar’a thanked HM the King for the warm welcome and Bahrain’s support for Syria.
After the meeting, HM King Hamad hosted a lunch in honour of President Al-Shar’a and his delegation. As the President departed the Kingdom, HH Sheikh Nasser HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and National Security Advisor, was among the officials who bid him farewell. The visit highlighted the strong ties between the two nations and a shared commitment to regional stability.
