The company announced its partnership with the Kuwait-based Alshaya Group, marking its first-ever franchise agreement to open locations in the region. This strategic collaboration paves the way for Chipotle’s expansion into the Middle East, with plans to open new locations in the region next year.
By teaming up with Alshaya Group, Chipotle aims to bring its beloved flavors and dining experience to a new audience. Alshaya Group’s expertise in the region, coupled with Chipotle’s commitment to quality ingredients and fresh, customizable menu options, creates an exciting synergy that will cater to the discerning palates of Middle Eastern customers!
The initial plan is to open two locations each in Dubai and Kuwait, with exact locations yet to be confirmed! According to the CEO of the popular brand, if the first few Middle East locations are successful, there will hopefully be hundreds more in the region down the line!
