Woah! Bahrain Attracted Over BD 66.5 Million in Foreign Direct Investments in 2024

Bahrain saw a total of BD 66.5 million in foreign direct investments in 2024, with the highest inflow recorded in the fourth quarter at BD 17.2 million. Kuwait led the list of investors, contributing BD 23.5 million, followed by Saudi Arabia with BD 14.7 million and the UAE with BD 7 million. Other countries investing in Bahrain included Libya, India, Turkey, and Qatar. The finance and insurance sector attracted the largest share, receiving BD 48.5 million in investments. Manufacturing followed with BD 4.5 million, while professional services and real estate saw BD 3.5 million and BD 1.8 million, respectively.

Bahrain continues strengthening its position as a hub for business and investment in the region, with steady growth in key sectors. The country’s business-friendly policies and economic initiatives aim to attract even more investment in the coming years.
