Art of an artist
Ghada Khunji is an artist and a photographer and honestly we’re falling short of words to describe her work! Her photographs are as real as it gets and the authenticity of her art is quite evident from her work. Ghada studied and lived in New York for more than 20 years and is currently residing in her homeland, Bahrain.
Ghada has mastered the art of photomontage and her work is exceptional. She has been vocal about driving inspiration from Frida Kahlo with pieces that depict a beautiful essence of the said.
Her beautiful art pieces are also recognized by cultural authorities and were put up in the National Museum of Bahrain Exhibition. Ghada is a recipient of numerous prestigious awards including Lucie Award, the Prix-Pictet and the Julia Margaret Cameron Award. She is an absolute pride of the island!

يتم التعرف على قطعها الفنية الجميلة من قبل الهيئات الثقافية وتم عرضها في متحف البحرين الوطني للعرض. حصلت غادة على العديد من الجوائز المرموقة بما في ذلك جائزة لوسي وجائزة بريكس بيكتيت وجائزة جوليا مارجريت كاميرون. إنها فخر مطلق للجزيرة!
