Tokyo Olympics has been going on in full swing and the events have been as exciting as ever. With our handball team debuting this year, we have had a special interest in the matches! After a historic win against Japan and reaching the quarter finals, Team Bahrain is back home.
The delegation was received by Bahrain Handball Federation at Bahrain International Airport and the representative of Bahrain Handball Federation, Mr. Khalid Najm, was in the reception of the Secretary General, who, on behalf of the board of directors expressed his gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, for his support and motivation for players.
The team was received keeping the safety protocols of Coronavirus in mind.

أولمبياد طوكيو 2020: فريق البحرين لكرة اليد يعود إلى اًرض الوطن
استمرت أولمبياد طوكيو على قدم وساق وكانت الأحداث مثيرة أكثر وأكثر. مع لمعان نجم فريق كرة اليد هذا العام، صرنا نهتم اكثر بالمباريات! بعد فوز تاريخي على اليابان وبلوغ ربع النهائي، عاد فريق البحرين إلى وطنه.
وكان في استقبال الوفد الاتحاد البحريني لكرة اليد في مطار البحرين الدولي ، وكان ممثل الاتحاد البحريني لكرة اليد السيد خالد نجم في استقبال الأمين العام الذي أعرب نيابة عن مجلس الإدارة عن امتنانه لسمو الشيخ خالد بن حمد آل خليفة النائب الأول لرئيس المجلس الأعلى للشباب والرياضة، رئيس الهيئة العامة للرياضة، رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية البحرينية لدعمه وتحفيز اللاعبين.
تم استقبال الفريق مع مراعاة بروتوكولات السلامة الخاصة بفيروس كورونا.
