Hong Kong’s government says it will give away 500,000 airline tickets, worth HK$2bn or $254.8m to tourists worldwide! This is in line with the city’s efforts to recover tourism in the region after the pandemic and is part of the “Hello Hong Kong” initiative! Tickets will be spread out among three airlines – flag carrier Cathay Pacific, HK Express, and Hongkong Airlines.
So how can you get a free ticket to Hong Kong? You can visit the World of Winners page starting March 1 to enter your name into the lottery. The tickets will be allocated in three waves: from March 1 to people across Southeast Asia, from April 1 to people living in mainland China and from May 1 to residents in the rest of the world.
