9 Socially Distanced Things to Do This Eid Holiday: May 13-17

Eid is here!

Or it’s about to be, anyway. That means we can take a few days to relax, celebrate and take in the vibes before getting back to our daily routines. Bahrain’s got a lot going on to help us celebrate – in a safe and socially distanced manner, of course! We’ve lined up some options for you, scroll to check them out:

This pop-up is back!

Ice’d is back after a very successful run this month! Our fave local chef, Hessa AKA Curiously Hungry, has teamed up with The Creative Consultancy to bring us this experience. Check it out at Suq Alqaysarriyah on the 15th and 16th!

Book a staycation

Alareen’s got an exclusive Eid staycation curated just for a perfect family staycation. Their Villas are absolutely gorgeous and so worth checking out! Call 𝟭𝟳𝟴𝟰𝟱𝟬𝟬𝟬 for inquiries!

Attend a midnight movie showing

Cinemas are back and it’s been a long time since we last got a chance to enjoy a movie in the theatre! Vox is celebrating by having the cinemas open for 24 hours a day starting on Eid until the 18th of May.

Have a spa day

Just like cinemas, spas are will be up and running starting tomorrow including Four Seasons’ luxury spa that’s fully decked out!

…or a full on feast!

Brunch! Who could say no to that? Bushido is having a 3 day Eid Al Fitr brunch special with Japanese & Pan Asian dishes and a live DJ!

Another pop-up is going on at the Ritz

Ritz has it’s own pop-up called Plums Al Fresco, with the only Josper grill in Bahrain! It’ll be up and running starting the first day of Eid – call 17586425 for reservations.

Check out this old market

The Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities announced that Suq Al Qaysariyya, one of the oldest parts of Muharraq, is set to reopen in a few days! The souq has been re-developed and revamped, and is opening up with a two-day event on the 15th and 16th of May, which most probably falls within the Eid holiday!

Check out this lounge

Iris is back after a long hiatus during Eid and it’s one of the best lounges around town – so, if you’re looking for a little bit of night life this is the spot for you!

Enjoy breakfast after missing it for so long

With Ramadan coming to an end, our routines are about to go back to the way they were. Which means, breakfast! We’re excited to get our food-filled mornings back, and we’ve got the spots you should feast at on Eid morning – or during the Eid holiday! Click HERE for the full list.

Stay safe & Eid Mubarak!
