The Lotus Emira: The Other Sports Car
The brand new Lotus Showroom opened in Bahrain yesterday, and the Emira was the spotlight of the evening. The new Lotus Showroom features its new retail identity that is based on a design language and philosophy for Lotus retail environments worldwide. It draws directly on the company’s design and engineering prowess. Sculptural and artistic in its execution, it captures the energy of the brand as it transforms from a UK sports car company to a genuine performance car player on the world stage.
Let’s talk about the brand new Emira now. Branded as a junior supercar, the Emira is a light, nimble, and mid-engined, truly a Lotus for the ages. Powered by a 3.5 litre supercharged V6 producing 400 hp, the Emira is as fast as they come. The Lotus Emira will be Lotus’s last petrol-powered car and is on a World Tour with Bahrain being its 3rd stop.
Designed using both science and art, the Emira is truly a sight to behold. With smooth lines, and a ferocious-looking front end, anybody who owns an Emira will be a showstopper.
