Guess who’s ready to light up the silver screen once again? It’s the talented Bahraini filmmaker, Deena Alsaweer! And this time, she’s bringing a jolly twist to the upcoming holiday movie “Laughing All The Way” produced by Lifetime.
As if being an award-winning filmmaker wasn’t impressive enough, Deena also happens to be a Fulbright Scholar. She’s collaborated with big-time companies like Bell Media Fibe TV1, Hallmark, CBC Gem, GAPC Entertainment, and even TVOkids. Talk about working with the best in the biz!
Her recent screenplay, ‘Dead & Alive’ got the Best Screenplay award at the Digi60 Filmmakers Festival. And if that wasn’t enough, her short screenplay ‘Agent Hala’ won a nationwide competition organized by the French Embassy in Bahrain. Deena’s definitely got the talent and dedication to make waves in the industry.
