Our very own national bodybuilding team recently returned from the World Bodybuilding Championship in Spain! Their outstanding performance earned them a grand total of four medals: a gold, two silvers, and a bronze.
When our champions arrived at Bahrain International Airport, they were greeted with open arms by none other than Mr. Sami Al-Haddad, the President of the Bahrain Bodybuilding Federation, and Mr. Hisham Al-Balushi, the Director of Sports Federations at the Bahrain Olympic Committee. Sami Al-Haddad even presented them with beautiful flowers. It was an incredible moment, with the whole board of directors from the Bahrain Bodybuilding Federation, along with the players’ families, friends, and supporters, joining in on the celebration.
Let’s give a big shout-out to Abdullah Farouk, who dominated the 85 kg weight category and snatched the gold medal. And we can’t forget about Muslim Al-Banna, who flexed his way to a fantastic third-place finish and a bronze medal in the 90 kg weight category. Abdullah Isa showed his incredible physique and secured the second-place silver medal in the Master’s Physique category for ages 45-49. Last but not least, Khaled Al-Saadi wowed everyone with his sculpted form and snagged the second-place silver medal in the Men’s Physique category for athletes under 176 cm.
Their dedication, hard work, and unwavering support from the Bahrain Bodybuilding Federation have truly paid off. Let’s give them a round of applause and wish them continued success in the future!
