Two incredibly talented pianists, Haya, and Layan Al Hamad, had the absolute honor of representing Bahrain at the Awarding Ceremony for the UNESCO King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize for the Use of ICT in Education. And guess where it all went down? The city of lights, Paris, France!
Let’s talk about the scene: officials, dignitaries, and an international audience all gathered to witness this epic event. It was like Bahrain’s moment to shine on the world stage! And Haya and Layan’s musical talent was right at the heart of it all. The Abdulrahman Kanoo International School students have both been learning the piano for the last five years. They were encouraged by their mother who studied piano for 10 years while growing up.
Their talented colleagues took the stage, playing a Bahraini song, while Haya and Layan wowed the audience with two mesmerizing classical piano solos.
Bahraini talent hits different!
