King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa had a meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican City. They talked about Bahrain’s relationship with the Vatican, working together, and promoting tolerance, coexistence, and dialogue. King Hamad focused on strengthening ties and bringing peace to the world.
They even remembered when Pope Francis visited Bahrain for that “East and West for Human Coexistence” talk. Pope Francis was grateful to King Hamad for doing good things and hosting conferences that promote dialogue and religious freedom.
King Hamad made it clear that Bahrain is a place where people of different faiths can live side by side and practice their religions freely. They’ve got mosques, churches, and temples that symbolize peace and celebrate different cultures. That’s pretty awesome!
They also spoke about what was going on in the Middle East. King Hamad really liked how Pope Francis supported peace and protecting innocent people. They want everyone to follow international laws and conventions.
King Hamad mentioned that having security and stability in the region is super important for their development and prosperity goals.Â
