Bahrain has passed an incredible milestone by passing the one million mark of COVID-19 testing in the Kingdom!
It was announced by the Ministry of Health that since COVID-29 testing was inaugurated in March, the millionth test was conducted, with a high recovery rate of 92.2%.
Out of 9647 COVID-19 tests carried out on 19 August 2020, 369 new cases have been detected among 134 expatriate workers, 232 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 3 are travel related. There were 357 recoveries from #COVID19, increasing total recoveries to 44278 pic.twitter.com/xvT2fcyDdl

Bahrain ranks one of the highest levels of recovery and testing globally, and has been praised for their efforts to combat COVID-19 thanks to the hundreds of volunteers, medical and health staff, working tirelessly with The National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus.
