Officials in Bahrain held a meeting with officials to discuss the 2025-2026 state budget. They focused on improving living standards, growing the economy and improving services. The main goals discussed included improving citizens’ living standards by enhancing the quality of life, boosting economic growth to promote long-term development and achieving financial sustainability to ensure the budget remains stable. The meeting also emphasized enhancing government services to better serve the public.
A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration under the “Team Bahrain” approach was highlighted, focusing on working together for the country’s benefit. Officials also reviewed government ministry priorities to decide which projects should be included in the budget.
Finally, it was agreed that the House of Representatives would prepare a report on the proposed budget, making sure it meets legal standards and addresses the needs of the citizens.
