The Ministry of Health announced that pregnant and breastfeeding women can now register to get vaccinated. Registration is open on healthalret.gov and the BeAware application. Two out of the five authorized vaccines, Sinopharm and Pfizer, have been approved for women bearing children.

The Ministry of Health also announced that the AstraZeneca vaccine will now be administered with an 8 week dosing interval rather than 4 – according to WHO recommendations.
