Women empowerment
A nation’s success is determined by the role of women in its society, and we agree! The Supreme Council for Women, Bahrain is celebrating its 20th anniversary today, the 22nd of August, and we couldn’t be more thankful! SCW has had an immense record of achievements due to its plans and policies including, national strategies regarding gender balance, family counseling, protection from domestic violence and women empowerment. Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty and President SCW, has a vital role in the achievements of SCW.
On this occasion, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa for her dedication and role in women empowerment, Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa admired the policies implemented by His Majesty The King to work simultaneously with SCW and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Prime Minister and Crown Prince, for his dedication in supporting the initiatives of SCW.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in response congratulated Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa and expressed pride in the achievements of SCW through the years. 20 years mark a pinnacle of success and we hope to nurture and grow together in making Bahrain, the best there is!

نجاح الأمم يحدده دور المرأة في مجتمعها جميعنا نتفق! يحتفل المجلس الأعلى للمرأة في البحرين اليوم ، 22 أغسطس ، بالذكرى العشرين لتأسيسه ، و بدورنا نشكرهم كل الشكر! يتمتع المجلس الأعلى للمرأة بسجل حافل من الإنجازات بفضل خططه وسياساته بما في ذلك الاستراتيجيات الوطنية المتعلقة بالتوازن بين الجنسين وعدم التفرقة، وتقديم المشورة الأسرية ، والحماية من العنف الأسري ، وتمكين المرأة. للأميرة سبيكة بنت إبراهيم آل خليفة حرم جلالة الملك ورئيس المجلس الأعلى للمرأة دور حيوي في إنجازات المجلس الأعلى للمرأة.
