Young artisans!
Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities has launched a “Young Artisan” program for kids to learn a few local handicrafts this summer break! What’s better than learning the traditions of our country all while having loads of fun! The program will include handicraft lessons and promoting the concept of heritage! This is in an effort of preserving traditional crafts in Bahrain!
Kids between the age of 7 to 12 years old can sign up for the program. The program will consist of workshops focusing on various aspects of local crafts, under the supervision of a group of master craftsmen working at Al Jasra Crafts Center.
The program will continue from July 4 to 27 at Al Jasra Crafts Centre.
