Goodbye Iftars & Ghabgas, hello Brunch! You know what time it is, and we’re here to make the search for the perfect brunch spot a little easier! From culinary restaurants to bakeries and patisseries, here’s something for everyone!
Culinary Restaurants
Masso
We can’t start off this list without shouting out Masso. This Adliya treasure is a highly rated upscale Mediterranean restaurant that’s offering an Eid brunch from 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM. Their extensive menu of culinary delights and beverages isn’t the only reason we love it, but the ambiance is to die for.
The Foundry
If you’re in a boujie mood, this upscale restaurant in Adliya is a must-try. It offers a luxurious brunch experience on its rooftop so you can enjoy the views and the food at the same time. The menu features a wide range of meat dishes, seafood, and desserts. The Foundry is perfect for those who want to enjoy a lavish brunch experience, and if you stay a little longer, you can enjoy the DJ sets they have planned for all Eid break.
Mado Cafe
People travel to Istanbul and Ankara for the food, but with this Turkish-inspired café, you can indulge without leaving the island. The pictures of their Eid breakfast dishes are making our mouths water. We recommend checking it out for yourself at one of their branches and thank us later.
Bakeries and Patisseries
The Orangery
This self-proclaimed tea room is giving Bridgerton high-tea aesthetics. With branches in Adliya, Avenues and newly in Al Liwan Mall, you can head on over to the closest on to you for a cute brunch moment with your girls and get the most Instagramable content on the island. The best part is their menu isn’t just dessert based, they also offer manakish and other savory goodies like the breakfast croissant with scrambled eggs.
Lilou Artisan Patisserie
This French-inspired bakery and café is giving us Emily in Paris vibes. Located in Adliya and Riffa, it offers a brunch menu that features a wide range of pastries, sandwiches, and salads. The restaurant also has a cozy and elegant ambiance, perfect for a family outing or brunch with the girls.
Haute Cupcakes
We don’t know if it’s because we’ve been fasting for a month, but our sweet tooth cravings are serious! We’re heading straight to Seef for some Haute Cupcakes, which aren’t just delicious, they’re also super adorable! They offer a variety of cupcakes, cakes, and other sweet treats, and are most known for their cake pops. If you’re a coffee and dessert type of person, you’ll definitely enjoy brunching at their branch.
Le Chocolat
Le Chocolat is a chocolate-themed café located in the Seef District that offers a unique brunch experience. The café features an indoor and outdoor seating area, and the breakfast menu includes a wide range of options from English to Middle Eastern to Bahraini. The best part is, if you’re invited over for lunch, you can grab a gorgeous cake or chocolate assortment on your way out to impress.
Happy brunching!
