Young learners!
The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities has launched “The Young Museologist” program at the Bahrain National Museum which aims at strengthening the national identity and introducing young kids to the history and heritage of Bahrain! This initiative is for children between the ages of 8-13 years old which involves introducing them to museology and the role of museums in preserving the cultural heritage of the country!
Kids will learn about the work done by the specialists at the museum from recording, restoring, and exhibiting the collections, and tours! The activities will take place this month, every Thursday from 9 am to 11:30 am.
For registration and more information, visit www.culture.gov.bh or click here.
Note that the registration is only open for August 18 and 25
So much to learn!
