This movie is probably the most relevant on this list! It follows the 2008 housing crisis and the people who saw it coming (and shorted it). You also get that iconic Margot Robbie scene!

Wall Street

It’s in the name, people. The movie follows a young stock broker who gets hired by a very rich corporate raider (which is basically someone who buys large stocks in companies to milk them for all their worth). It’s full of hope, betrayal and insider trading!

The Wolf of Wall Street

A classic! The Wolf of Wall Street follows the true story of Jordan Belfort who starts out selling penny stocks and uses dirty techniques to become one of the richest men on Wall Street. We won’t spoil the rest for you but trust us – you gotta watch it!

Boiler Room

A college dropout gets hired at an investment firm as a broker. He gets more and more successful, but it becomes clear that the job is not as legitimate as he first thought it was.
