Bahrain’s e-passport just scored the prestigious 2024 Red Dot Design Award! The ceremony will be in Berlin on November 1, 2024.
This top-tier design award is a huge international nod to Bahrain’s exceptional design standards. Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs, expressed major pride in this honor. He credited His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their guidance, and gave a shoutout to His Excellency Lt. General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, for his support.
Sheikh Hisham highlighted that this win shows off the e-passport’s sleek design, top-notch security, and cutting-edge tech, reaffirming Bahrain’s commitment to providing the best services.
Big thanks went out to the e-passport team and everyone who contributed. Among global entries, Bahrain’s e-passport snagged the “Best of the Best” title, proving that winning really is just the beginning.
