Bapco Refining says they’re almost done plugging a leak in one of their naphtha tanks over in Sitra. They’re working with the firefighters to keep everything safe.
You might still smell something funny in the air for a few days because of the wind, but Bapco says everything’s under control. They thanked their team for their quick work and said emergency crews are ready in case of anything else.
The leak was just a small problem caused by all the weird rain we’ve been having lately.
