The King Hamad University Hospital as well as Salmaniya Medical Complex have announced that all medical consultations and follow-ups in the public outpatient clinics will be held virtually, over the phone, after scheduling the date and time. Any medications that patients may need will be received or dispensed directly from the clinic’s pharmacy.
The Salmaniya Medical Complex has also stated that aside from virtual phone consults, remote counseling will be held wherever applicable.
These decisions were made in compliance with the precautionary COVID-19 guidelines that the MOH continues to implement – to promote social distancing and the safety of the citizens of Bahrain – and will take place starting Monday, February 1st until further notice!
