Fresh and local produce!
We all wait for Bahrain Farmers Market every year for its many activities, fresh and local produce, and to enjoy the cool breeze with friends and family. Farmers Market launched on 10th December, and recorded over 25,000 visitors in its 2nd week!
It has been around two weeks since the launch and people keep flocking to the place seeking quality produce and a change of scenery. Last weekend was special, as they hosted National Day celebration with traditional music and activities for kids and families.
In addition, the Assistant Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs and Chairman of the organizing committee praised the 31 participating farmers and companies for their contribution in the market. Leading a very successful season indeed!
If you haven’t had the chance yet to visit the farmers market, don’t worry. It’s open every Saturday from 7 am and until 1 pm at Budaiya Botanical Garden. Click here for the location!
