To great heights!!
The Bahrain Everest Team accomplished yet another summit and we couldn’t be gleaming with more pride! This time, two members of the group raised Bahrain’s flag at the Ama Dablam mountain in the eastern Himalayan range of Nepal. The main peak is about 6,812 meters high!
Ama Dablam means “Mother’s necklace”; the long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother (ama) protecting her child, and the hanging glacier thought of as the Dablam (necklace), the traditional double-pendant containing pictures of the gods, worn by Sherpa women.
We’re super proud of this Bahrain group scaling new heights!!
