What a kick!
The Bahrain Women’s Futsal team made us all proud at the GCC Games in Kuwait last night when they beat the home team 2-1 in the futsal finals! Bahrain’s Sheikha Anoud Al Khalifa and Hessa Al Isa scored the first and second goals respectively leading the team to conquer the match.
Bahraini athletes and teams have won big so far in the GCC games. They bagged 17 gold, 12 silver, and 6 bronze medals in the athletic events alone. The men’s futsal team beat the Emirates national team by 4 goals to secure second place in the tournament!
