Our champions have returned!!
With 35 medals in their hands, Bahraini athletes have returned from Kuwait after making us all proud at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Games! They won 17 gold, 12 silver, and 6 bronze medals both on track and in the field over three days!
The national athletes and teams including futsal, basketball, and fencing teams headed for Kuwait on May 13th and raised Bahrain’s flag high during the entire event. The team events are continuing in Kuwait while the athletes have returned.
And they were given a joyous welcome back in Bahrain by the Bahraini Olympic Committee at a formal reception. Here’s to an amazing achievement and many more to come!
