His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa welcomed His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, along with His Highness Shaikh Faisal and His Highness Shaikh Abdullah, at Al Sakhir Palace following Bahrain’s triumphant return from the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Bahrain’s athletes made history, securing four medals—two gold, one silver, and one bronze—on the global stage. HM the King expressed his deep appreciation for HH Shaikh Khalid’s tireless dedication to advancing youth and sports, praising his significant role in putting Bahrain on the international sports map.
HM King Hamad also highlighted the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, recognizing the unwavering support provided to Bahraini athletes. The King commended the outstanding performances and sportsmanship shown by the athletes, applauding the collective efforts of the General Sports Authority and the Bahrain Olympic Committee in achieving these remarkable results.
