King Fahd Causeway Authority has announced updates in travel procedures for Saudi passengers arriving in Bahrain via the causeway.
The updates are as follows:
– Adults must have administered 3 doses of the vaccine for Coronavirus (two doses and a booster dose).
– Adults can take the booster dose after eight months of receiving the second dose.
– Those below the age of 16 must have administered two doses of the vaccine.
– Children under the age of 12 must hold an insurance policy against coronavirus and the age must be calculated by the Hijri calendar.
The KFCA also specified that the insurance company Tawuniya is currently the only approved entity, according to the Health Insurance Council.
This update comes after Saudi Arabia lifted Covid-19 precautionary measures.
