Ramadan is all about giving
& this charity is making it super simple for us! Hefth Al Naema Society AKA Bahrain Food Bank is a local NGO that is concerned with “conserving bounties.” They do exactly that by putting an end to food waste and dispersing it to those who need it. They take leftovers which are in good condition from hotels, banquets and private events to donate to the needy. You can swipe through the carousel below to check out how they work:
This holy month though, they’ve partnered up with a few businesses to make giving back even easier:
Mall of Dilmunia
For Ramadan, Tamimi Markets and Mall of Dilmunia will be donating a box of essentials for every 50 BD spent at the supermarket.
Dominoes
Pizza with a cause… Dominos’ “Pizza For Good” initiative donates 0.2 BD from your order and puts it to good use. Did we mention you get to eat pizza?
Green Beets
Green beets is donating a meal to the NGO for every single meal sold this month – so you can’t go wrong with this option!
Talabat
Talabat is making it super easy for us to donate – while you’re ordering futoor or suhoor you can also donate meals to families in need through the app – can’t get simpler than this!
Ramadan Kareem!
