United in need
The recent events in Afghanistan have brought about a wave of uncertainty in the world, and in this time of need, the world needs to stand united. US Secretary of State, Antony J Blinken, recently released statements concerning US citizens and evacuees from Afghanistan. He said, so far 13 countries have agreed to temporarily host Afghan evacuees and a dozen have agreed to be a transit point, including Bahrain!
Antony J Blinken stated, “The United States is grateful to Bahrain for its humanitarian efforts and its gracious offer to facilitate the safe transit of US citizens and evacuees.” He also exclaimed, “The United States greatly appreciates the Bahraini government’s support; it is emblematic of our strong and enduring partnership.”
He went on to say, “We have no higher priority than the safety and security of US citizens overseas, including our military and diplomats serving in Afghanistan.” “We thank our Bahraini partners for their support in this effort.”

أمريكا تقدر جهود البحرين في تأمين إخلاء للأفغان والأمريكيين!
