Exhibition!
First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa inaugurated the Burqa exhibition last night at Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Fateh Fort in Riffa.
Exhibition called ‘The Hood’ is presented by Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa and showcases a beautiful blend of the past and the present, a burqa (leather hood) to cover the falcons’ eyes with reference to a facemask used during the times of the pandemic. What a creative approach!
The Hood is up at Riffa Fort till Thursday, the 13th of January!
