“Confluence – Where Words And Images Meet”
Bahrain Writer’s Circle opened its annual art exhibition, “Confluence – Where Words And Images Meet” today. Bahrain Writer’s Circle is one of the leading organizations of writers, artists, journalists, poets, and bloggers in the Kingdom.
The exhibition is held under the patronage of Mohamed Ali Shukri, winner of the prestigious “Accredited Speaker” award from Toastmasters International and the first Arab to reach the World Championship of Public Speaking finals. Founded in early 2011, the Bahrain Writers’ Circle is open to all authors and writers (or even budding authors!) who reside in Bahrain.
The exhibition will be held in teams of two, each consisting of a writer and a visual artist. Saira Ranj, the director of Bahrain Writer’s Circle stated ” 2021 sees the dawn of a whole new Confluence. The junction of two rivers creates a confluence and to host this exhibition yet again in Bahrain a country between 2 seas is no coincidence. This exhibit features powerful visual art interspersed with poetic poetry, giving the onlooker a real chance to explore both perspectives.”
“Bahrain Writers’ Circle turned a decade old this year. This milestone goes to show how powerfully the written word and expression of thoughts connect people. What started in 2011 stays true to its cause- welcoming people of all stages of their writing lives and helping to unearth their most creative selves. Consistently meeting thrice a month through various workshops we learn to hone this craft.”

دائرة الكاتب البحريني تطلق معرضها الفني السنوي اليوم وهو مفتوح للجميع!
“التقاء” حيث تلتقي الكلمات مع الصور
افتتحت دائرة كتاب البحرين اليوم معرضها الفني السنوي ، التقاء – حيث تلتقي الكلمات مع الصور”. دائرة كتاب البحرين هي إحدى المنظمات الرائدة للكتاب والفنانين والصحفيين والشعراء والمدونين في المملكة.
يقام المعرض تحت رعاية محمد علي شكري ، الحائز على جائزة “المتحدث المعتمد” المرموقة من توستماسترز إنترناشونال وأول عربي يصل إلى نهائيات بطولة العالم للخطابة. تأسست في أوائل عام 2011، دائرة كتاب البحرين مفتوحة لجميع المؤلفين والكتاب (أو حتى المؤلفين الناشئين!) الذين يقيمون في البحرين.
سيقام المعرض من فريقين يتكونان من كاتب وفنان تشكيلي. صرحت سايرا رانج، مديرة دائرة الكتاب البحرينيين أن “عام 2021 يشهد بزوغ فجر ملتقى جديد كليًا ومختلف. إلتقاء نهرين يخلق لقاء واستضافة هذا المعرض مرة أخرى في “البحرين بلد بين بحرين” ليس من قبيل الصدفة. يتميز هذا المعرض بفن بصري قوي يتخلله الشعر الشاعري ، مما يمنح المشاهد فرصة حقيقية لاستكشاف المنظورين معا.
تحولت دائرة كتاب البحرين إلى حدث هام في آخر عشر سنوات. يوضح هذا الحدث المهم مدى قوة الكلمة المكتوبة والتعبير عن الأفكار في ربط الناس. ما بدأ في عام 2011 يظل وفياً لقضيته – الترحيب بالناس في جميع مراحل حياتهم الكتابية والمساعدة في إكتشاف الذات الأكثر إبداعًا. نلتقي باستمرار ثلاث مرات في الشهر من خلال ورش عمل مختلفة نتعلم من خلالها صقل هذه الصنعة “.
