Go Smart ups the brightness at Solar Decathlon
The Solar Decathlon is one of the showstoppers of the Dubai Expo. And representing Bahrain is the team from the University of Bahrain. The team is made up of nearly 40 people, led by contest captain Alzain Bindayna. Student team leader Rawan Jahromi, faculty advisor Dr. Hanan Buflasa and project manager Dana Al Moawda help the team in preparation for the expo.
The aim of the “Go Smart” team is to build a fully smart and sustainable house in Bahrain. Their team of students, engineers, and consultants use creative engineering and architectural strategies to plan the building of the house and transfer it entirely to Dubai, where it will be showcased, judged and brought back to its home.

ممثلين البحرين في معرض دبي إكسبو 2020 بكامل إستعدادهم
تعد Solar Decathlon واحدة من الأفكار المطروحة في معرض دبي إكسبو. و الفريق الي يمثل البحرين هو فريق جامعة البحرين. يتكون الفريق من حوالي 40 شخص بقيادة الزين بن داينة. قائدة الفريق الطلابي روان جهرمي ، ومستشارة الكلية الدكتورة حنان بوفلاسة ومديرة المشروع دانا المعاودة لمساعدة الفريق في التحضير للمعرض.
الهدف من فريق “Go Smart” هو بناء منزل ذكي ومستدام بالكامل في البحرين. يستخدم الفريق طلاب ومهندسين واستشاريين لإستراتيجيات الهندسة المعمارية الإبداعية في التخطيط لبناء المنزل ونقله بالكامل إلى دبي ، حيث سيتم عرضه والحكم عليه وإعادته.
