The National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus held a press conference yesterday where they discussed the ongoing efforts to defeat the pandemic. They made a key amendment to health regulations for selected businesses.
The BeAware application will now be a primary tool in data collection for these businesses which include: salons, barbershops, swimming pools, gyms, restaurants and more.
Customers of those establishments are now required to download the BeAware app and activate location services to be allowed to enter.
The application is available for download at the App Store and the Play Store. Since it’s launch, it’s become an essential tool for all those living in Bahrain during the pandemic.
