The Bahrain Gardens Club just dropped some exciting news! They held a press conference in collaboration with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development at the Isa Cultural Cente! And spilled the beans on their upcoming event, the 2024 Annual Flower and Vegetable Competition.
This year’s theme for the annual exhibition is “Bahrain’s Heritage.” The club has been working their magic and getting everything ready for the event. They’ve even sorted out the different categories for the competitions. Get this: students from government and private schools aged 3 to 18, university students, students with special needs, and even adults can participate! Adults can show off their green thumbs in categories like home gardens, flower arrangements, photography, crafts, and handicrafts.
Her Excellency Sheikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, the Secretary-General of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development, announced that the Bahrain International Gardens Exhibition will now be held every two years. They’re shaking things up under the gracious patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the amazing support of Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
