A festival up high?
As in, you can see Manama’s skyscrapers all around you. Bahrain City Centre has brought us a completely one-off event on the island – Bahrain’s first-ever rooftop food festival: OUTDOORS! The festival in its entirety is introducing a unique culinary experience for all us foodies over here, right from the rooftop parking lot.
There’s so much more than just food to enjoy here. After a year of no cinema, we finally get to experience it again – on the rooftop, this time! We get to watch some popular showings in the open-air cinema, with the best dining options. To heighten the experience even more, guests can actually order from any restaurant inside the mall by scanning the QR code placed on each of the islands – and the meals will be brought up right to you!
We got the chance to speak to Duaij Al Rumaihi, Mall Director, who told us all about the concept of the festival and how it came to be. He mentioned that the festival was in the works for about 6 months, planned to the T for us to experience!
He said about the event:

The event promises to be an exciting extravaganza of food and culture; a celebration brought to life by our unique range of local and international F&B brands. The festival will treat our customers to unforgettable dining experiences on the rooftop of City Centre Bahrain. It will open mall visitors’ eyes to the beauty of the Manama skyline, and broaden their culinary horizons. The festival will also showcase our extensive range of high-end and street-style fashion brands, with shoppers being given the chance to win several gifts and make the most of exclusive promotions.”

The festival starts at 5pm-10pm on weekdays and 5pm-12am on weekends – get over there!
