A new upgrade just dropped on the BeAware application, where everyone who’s vaccinated now has a photograph shown along with the green vaccination shield. Photos on record with the ministry will automatically show up for those who are fully immunized.
The App has had constant updates that aim to help citizens and residents navigate the Kingdom a little easier throughout the pandemic. The Ministry of Health announced their vaccination preference service earlier this year. Where, in order to maximize accessibility, you can select your second preference in case your first option is unavailable.
There are currently 5 vaccines available in Bahrain which are: Sinopharm, Pfizer, Astrazeneca, Sputnik V and Johnson & Johnson. If you can’t make up your mind yet, you can read our feature dissecting the differences between the available vaccines. (Click HERE)
