Local x Local: Wrista Talks About The Music Industry & His Hip-Hop Debut

The creative industry is one filled with aspiring artists, spending day and night trying to achieve their goals and fulfill the dreams they’ve always worked towards. Bahrain is full of artists and musicians doing exactly that, and many of which seem like they’ll have their names up in lights VERY soon.

On this week’s episode, we sat down with Wrista, a Bahraini hip-hop artist to talk about all-things-music

Wrista started his journey by using music as a means by which he could express himself. One beat led to another, and it turned into a series of passion projects he couldn’t walk away from.

His TikTok page got a lot of people talking (it’s pretty hilarious) and back in 2019, once he noticed the traction and reactions, he decided to take music a lot more seriously.

We’d like to point out that Wrista is only 21 years old…

Verified on Instagram and TikTok, dropping new singles, working part-time at Bahrain TV AND CURRENTLY STUDYING. Have heard of a more intense hustle? The dreams are big and the aspiration is REAL over here.

The grind hasn’t stopped and won’t stop for him, he just released a new single and is continuing to mix some beats and put his creativity and art out there for us all!

Wrista’s advice for anyone trying to make it in the music industry, or creative industry in general, is to stay true to your vision, do what YOU love and try not to be too influenced by the media and those around you.

Sounds about right to us! Advice from the hip-hop artist himself, guys.
