2020 is just filled with ‘interesting’ finds, isn’t it?
So apparently, Dutch scientists believe that they have discovered a new organ in the human body, a presence of tubarial glands that sit in the skull – between the throat and nose.
Radiologists aren’t sure if these are necessarily ‘new’ glands or if imaging technologies found a better way to see already-existing minor glands. All in all, with more research to be done, it could explain a thing or two to doctors and scientists about tumorous growths and patient reactions!
