Did you ever think that you’ll witness “man made rain” in your life? Well now it’s happening! With temperatures in Dubai regularly surpassing 115 degrees Fahrenheit, the government has decided to finally take control of the scorching heat.
Scientists in the United Arab Emirates are “making it rain”— artificially — by carrying out the process of cloud seeding. They’re using electrical charges from drones to alter the microphysical processes within the clouds which results into modification in natural weather. The officials recently released a video showing a downpour over Ras Al Khaimah and other regions. This is just amazing tbh!
The government is hoping that “zapping” clouds regularly will help control the scorching weather conditions in the UAE and alleviate the annual heat waves. This honestly is a great idea and let’s hope maybe some day we could witness a similar “artificial” downpour on our very own island!

دبي تستخدم طائرات بدون طيار لتخلق مطر صناعي في الجو

هل فكرت يومًا أنك ستشهد “المطر الذي سيصنعه الإنسان” في حياتك؟ طيب، هذا يحدث الآن! مع ارتفاع درجات الحرارة في دبي بانتظام 115 درجة فهرنهايت، قررت الحكومة السيطرة أخيرًا على الحرارة الحارقة باستخدام طيارات بدون طيار لتطلق شحنات كهربائية في السحب لتحصل على امطار لتخفيف درجات الحرارة العالية وتسمى العملية بتلقيح السحب.
يقوم العلماء في الإمارات العربية المتحدة في جعلها تمطر بشكل مصطنع من خلال تنفيذ عملية جعل السحب تمطر باستخدام الشحنات الكهربائية لتغيير العمليات الفيزيائية الدقيقة في داخل الغيوم مما يؤدي إلى تعديل في الطقس الطبيعي. تمت هذه العملية فوق رأس الخيمة ومناطق أخرى وتم توثيق فيديو يظهر هطول أمطار غزيرة.
تأمل الحكومة أن السحب “السريعة” ستساعد بانتظام في السيطرة على أحوال الطقس الحارقة في الإمارات العربية المتحدة وتخفيف موجات الحر السنوية. هذي بصراحة فكرة رائعة و نتأمل في يوم من الأيام أن نشهد هطول أمطار “اصطناعي” مماثل على البحرين!
