His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, emphasized the long-standing relationship between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, which has flourished for over 200 years through cooperation and strategic partnerships. HRH reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening these ties and advancing joint efforts to support comprehensive development, guided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
During a meeting at 10 Downing Street with Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, HRH praised the advanced cooperation between the two nations. And highlighted the importance of building on these strategic partnerships to achieve shared goals.
HRH also acknowledged the UK’s role in promoting security, peace, and development in the region and globally. He reiterated Bahrain’s support for efforts to maintain peace and stability, contributing to the prosperity of the region and the world.
The meeting also addressed topics of mutual interest and the latest regional and international developments.
