Winning big!
The third Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Games are currently taking place in Kuwait and Team Bahrain had an amazing start to the event! Winning a total of 13 medals, including 7 gold both on track and in the field on the first day of the 3-day event, it was a day of joy!
The gold medals were bagged by Noora Jasim in the women’s shot put, Aminat Jamal in women’s 100m hurdles, Fatima Mubarak in the women’s long jump, Bontu Rebitu in the 10,000m, Muna Mubarak in the women’s 400m, Abdelrahman Mahmoud in the men’s shot put and Albert Rop in the men’s 10,000m.
Way to go Team Bahrain!
