A huge milestone!
Bahrain is set to launch the first 100% Bahraini-built satellite project and 40% of the work on the satellite has been completed with the launch expected to take place by the end of this year! The satellite will be named “Al Munther”. This is such a huge step for Bahrain in the field of space science! Previously, Bahrain and UAE launched a joint satellite in space and this project would completely be carried out by Bahrain’s geniuses!
Al Munther is the first of its kind in the Middle East that employs artificial intelligence algorithms in analyzing satellite images! It will capture images of Bahrain and its regional waters and collect data that will feed into several sectors!
