Earth Hour is an annual event organized worldwide in order to raise awareness and encourage a commitment to nature. The event, which is organized by the World Wide Fund For Nature, occurs on the last Saturday of every March. If you’re unfamiliar with how the event is held, it basically goes like this: Everyone around the world is encouraged to turn off their lights from 8:30pm to 9:30pm tonight. This year’s theme: a healthy relationship with nature. The WWF is attempting to shed light and promote a healthier and more distanced relationship between humans and the nature that surrounds us. Watch the organization’s video all about it below:
