Great News: Bahrain Just Donated 2,000 Vaccine Doses To A Village In Nepal

Bahrain donated 2,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, yesterday . The gesture was announced by HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Major General. The vaccines will go to help a thousand residents of Samagaun, Nepal get immunized!

The Bahrain Everest team, was involved in the process. They posted their journey on instagram saying,

The team arrived late last night in Nepal and was met by our brothers from @sevensummittreks. The much needed vaccines from Bahrain will be delivered in the coming days under the guidance of the Nepal Minister of Health.

As part of their trip, Bahrain Everest team will first summit Bahrain Royal Peaks, which were named after out kingdom. Before making that summit the team dropped off the vaccines to benefit those living in the area!
