This Local Jiu-Jitsu Champ Was Awarded Best Asian Athlete in the Abu Dhabi JJ Championship

Another one

Remember when we told you guys that Ali was putting Bahrain on the map with his martial arts skills… several times? Well, there’s one more to add to the endless list of victories (Mashallah) for this champ.

Ali Monfaradi, a Jiu-Jitsu world champ, just participated in the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, ranking number 1 in Asia among all Adult Black Belts!! Not to mention, Ali’s actually the first Bahraini in HISTORY to participate in a main-event final – winning a Silver Medal! We’ve been following along with Ali’s JJ journey for quite some time, and we know that he puts his entire heart and soul (not to mention blood, sweat & tears) into every tournament or championship he participates in! It’s a proud moment for Ali, and he shared some inspirational words about it:

With the season concluded, I am honored to say that I’ve ranked number #1 in Asia among all Adult Black Belts.

Thank you to the @uaejjf and @ajptour for the generous award and ceremony.

Congratulations to Bahrain and its amazing people, we made it again 🇧🇭🇧🇭🇧🇭

On to the next one 👊🏽
